Apply Texas is an online application for all Texas public colleges, and a few private ones as well. It contains three essays and 10 pages of information that students need to complete, as well as a scholarship application for some of the colleges.
Students may start an account on August 1, a few weeks before their senior year of high school. Before that, they may click on Preview the Application to see what information is asked for.

*Final deadline is after high school graduation. Some colleges will run out of space for new enrollees before their deadline and most will fill housing before summer. Suggestion is to complete all Apply Texas applications in Fall of senior year.

Required essays MUST be completed and submitted with college applications. Optional or recommended essays are strongly encouraged for colleges that are a reach for students. Essays are also sometimes used to help determine scholarships, so thought and proofreading should go into every single essay.
