Colleges will correspondent with students via their email accounts. If the student is missing a crucial admissions document, they will request it via email. Colleges will also send notifications for scholarships, financial aid, Honors college applications, and admissions decisions via email. Did I mention that seniors should regularly check their emails?
Apply for Scholarships
Late Fall and Spring of senior year is a gerat time for students to apply to scholarships. Check each college’s website for any additional requirements and check scholarships.com for private scholarships. Be proactive and keep track of scholarship requirements and due dates.
Check Your Social Media Accounts
Colleges might be checking your social media presence so log out and see what is visible from the ‘public’ view.
Some colleges may ask for your first semester grades or an update on your progress after application
