Jolyn Brand is an excellent source for students pursuing college after high school. She guides students, (and parents) through the required processes with compassion and helps with comprehending the importance of submitting documents early and on time. She helped with scheduling tutoring and was always available when needed.

I was very happy with all aspects of the service, but Anna and I were especially happy with how responsive you were to requests and how quickly you returned emails.  Anna liked that if you were going away or were not going to be available that you sent e mails notifying her and gave dates to complete things before you became unavailable.

My daughter attends high school in Clear Lake (CCISD) and is a very bright student. She became a teenage mom during her senior year and lost all hope of going to college. She was a great mom but to encourage her to pursue her college options, the counselor recommended we contact Brand College Consulting. Jolyn met with us and agreed to take us on pro bono, she worked with us for free!  And since she was a teenage mom too, my daughter trusted her and her advice.

Over the school year, Jolyn encouraged her to apply to state and private colleges and walked us through the financial aid and scholarship requirements. My daughter thought she would have to attend a community college and work part-time, because couldn't afford full time tuition, plus daycare. They worked online and through Skype which was very convenient.

My daughter was accepted to several colleges, but one of them granted her a full ride. We just found out that she also got a scholarship that will cover her books and the daycare for her son. My girl is going to college! And I can't thank Jolyn enough!
